We recommend shifting your weight from the back to the front on downswing motions. If it helps, you can rely more on your lead side to offer more flexibility. As you shift your weight, your iron will get more force from behind and can prevent errors.

Avoid large movements, however, as they can impact your stance to the ball position. Shifting weight shouldn't pull you away or toward the ball, instead, you'll have greater control and freedom of movement.

Focus on the Position of Your Wrist

The hip joint is a central pivot point for your entire body. This is why our trainers and advanced players keep a loose stance with minimal movements. As you work on your body alignment and stance, make sure you focus on your hips and repeat a rotating motion.
